Year 2 – World Explorers

This week in Year 2, we have been learning all about our amazing world! The children explored the 7 continents and 5 oceans, discovering where they are and what makes each one special.

To challenge themselves, the children created their own globes from memory using balloons and whiteboard pens. They carefully drew the continents, thinking hard about their shapes and positions. After this, they used atlases to check their work, make corrections and add extra details.

It was fantastic to see the children showing resilience, curiosity and pride in their learning as they became real world explorers!
