Who are we?
We are the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl who work together to help our school to be safe for us all; children, teachers and visitors. We are supported by Mr Perry (Headteacher), Mrs Bird and Mrs Richardson (Assistant Headteachers/Designated Safeguarding Lead).
The Cornovii Trust Safeguarding Ambassadors – 08/11/23
(See photo) Safeguarding Ambassadors from Brine Leas School, Weston Primary, Audlem St James and Alsager Highfields Primary met up this week to collaborate on some rules for online safety. They discussed the 4 Cs of online activity – content, contact, conduct and commerce. They then identified and agreed upon 10 rules for young people to keep everyone safe online. These rules will be shared with each school. The meeting saw some thought-provoking conversations and impactful teamwork. The ambassadors are looking forward to more opportunities to work together across the trust late in the year. It was a really productive day; thanks to all involved.

Our Role
- We will listen to ideas, opinions and suggestions of our class.
- We will review and contribute to school policies.
- We will help to make the school rules, ensuring everyone stays safe.
- We will share our views with staff, governors and parents.
- We will work closely with our School Council and Ethos Groups.
- We will make sure visitors are safe in our school.
- We will monitor safety in and out of school as well as online.
