Year 2 Inventors

Year 2 had a fantastic time exploring what it means to be an inventor during a special workshop led by STEM Inventors and Makers. The children spent the entire day stepping into the shoes of real inventors, tackling a range of exciting challenges.

From rescuing the Gingerbread Man, to building the tallest freestanding tower, and even designing their own machines to solve real-world problems, every activity encouraged creativity, teamwork and problem-solving.

The children truly let their “light shine” as their imaginations came to life throughout the day. Their ideas were innovative and inspiring, and they thoroughly enjoyed the process of designing and building their own prototypes.

It was a memorable and engaging experience for all, sparking curiosity and a love for invention!
