Year 2 – Harvest

This week in Year 2, we’ve been embracing the beautiful changes of the season. The children have loved watching the leaves fall from the trees and used this as inspiration for both play and creativity. During our outdoor sessions, we took part in some exciting team-building games – including a fun challenge where the children played against the teacher! Laughter, teamwork, and plenty of energy made it a highlight of the week.

After returning to school following our Harvest Festival celebrations, everyone was feeling truly autumnal. The children were eager to get creative, so we spent time collecting colourful leaves and using them to decorate our classroom. Some children bundled leaves together using the stems, while others made imaginative leaf flowers and autumn crafts.

It’s been a wonderful week of teamwork, creativity, and seasonal fun!
