Victorian toys

The children in Sapphire Class enjoyed playing with toys from the past. The learned the difference between old toys and replicas. The children handled Victorian toys ranging from handmade rag dolls and wooden peg dolls for the poor to manufactured tin soldiers, clockwork trains, and detailed dolls' houses for the wealthy. Popular, traditional items included marbles, spinning tops, hoops, cup and ball, skipping ropes, and educational games like Noah's Arks.
