Y6 Design fairground rides

This week, Year 6 have been completing their fairgrounds rides for their Design & Technology learning. They have designed the rides and then built them from recycled materials incorporating electric circuits to make them turn. The children have been sawing wood, using different types of glue for different joins, painting, sanding and using motors and gears. They have thoroughly enjoyed it and really demonstrated some fabulous collaboration, problem-solving and resilience.
