Y6 Celebrating World Book Day

Year 6 had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day and the genre of bedtime stories. We watched the BBC live lesson and were inspired by Michael Rosen to take well-known stories and give them our own twist. The children thoroughly enjoyed writing their own short stories with some unusual twists! For example, we had 'Snow White and the Seven GIants'! We also listened to an American storyteller who represents Black American storytellers, and to finish, we had lots of parents coming in to share bedtime stories with the children. A brilliant day.
