Y4 Trip to Quarry Bank Mill

Year 4 enjoyed a lovely trip to Quarry Bank Mill. They found out what it was like for children who worked in the mill and even had a go at some of the chores which included making beds, ironing, emptying the chamber pot and polishing the clogs! They enjoyed dressing up as rich children and poor apprentices, and were shocked to learn that the children didn't even get paid.
