Y4 Ancient Greeks Day

Year 4 had a wonderful time during an Ancient Greeks workshop. They learned about the geography of Ancient Greece, acted out one of their myths, solved a puzzle and learned a game which required some strategic thinking. They also took part in their own mini-Olympics, designed their own shield and researched about Greek philosophers, Greek gods and about Alexander the Great. The children especially enjoyed pretending to have a sword fight and throwing a spear!
