Happy World Book Day! World Book Day takes place on Thursday 2nd March and we hope you'll join us as we come together to encourage every child in school to be a reader and love books.
Many characters are described as wearing their cosy night clothes in books so the children may come into school wearing their favourite cosy pyjamas and dressing gown. We will get comfortable Drop Everything And Read. Please remember if the children choose to wear pyjamas these should be accompanied with sensible shoes and additional layers to keep them warm when they go out to play. They should wear a coat to school as usual.
We want to make this World Book Day very special by inviting Parents and Carers to join us in school at 2.40pm on Thursday 2nd March to read with the children. We would love you to read your child or children 'a Bedtime Story.'
