War! What is it good for?!

Last week, Diamond Class wowed an audience of parents while performing their class assembly/play 'War! What is it good for?!'This play saw Audlem pupils transported to the past with the help of Doctor Who. They discovered why WW2 started; how it affected the people of Britain (and around the world) and met some heroic people from the time.
Afterwards, the parents were quizzed and had some time to play games that would have been typical inside Anderson shelters during an air raid.
