Reading for pleasure with Pearl Class

Thank you to all of the parents, carers, children and staff who made World Book Day a very special experience. The children and staff came to school dressed in their pyjamas and they were joined by parents and carers who came into a school to read a 'bedtime story.' Throughout the day, we found opportunities to Drop Everything And Read our favourite books. The children took part in an exciting BBC Live Lesson for World Book Day where we talked about reading for enjoyment and the children had the opportunity to re-design their favourite book characters.
