Queen Elizabeth's reign

Pearl Class have been learning about the reign of Queen Elizabeth as part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. They have been studying the 1960s and learning about art, fashion, food, music and events that occurred during this decade. The children are working together to create a commemorative piece of artwork that will be displayed in Audlem. They have created images of the Queen in the style of Andy Warhol and used printing techniques to detail events such as the moon landing in 1969 and England's World Cup win in 1966. Some children chose to focus on 1960s fashion.
