Queen Elizabeth II

Dear Parents and Local Community,

It is with the deepest sadness that we learnt yesterday, of the news of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Her Christian faith shone through her character throughout her reign, as she faithfully served her country and God as monarch over the last seventy years. We send our condolences to the Royal Family at this sad time.
I would also like to share a prayer from the Church of England remembering and giving thanks for our Queen, may she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Gracious God,

We give thanks for the life
Of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
For her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
And may her example continue to inspire us;
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
