Investigating Animal Ears in Year 4

Year 4 made animal ears out of paper to investigate how animals' ears pick up sound. They discovered the larger size amplifies sound and that is why dogs can hear their owners get home before they've even stepped through the door! The class enjoyed moving their ears around to pick up different sounds around the playground.
