Exploring Shapes

The children in Year 2 used their sticky knowledge about 3D shapes to help when problem solving and reasoning. The children were given twelve straws of the same length and they had to predict which 3D shape they would be able to construct. They made prediction and explained their decisions. They then worked in teams to prove their predictions were correct.
