Everyone is Welcome in Pearl Class

Andrew Moffat MBE shared a simple picture book with Pearl Class. Can I Join Your Club? by John Kelly explores how Duck feels when animals exclude him from their clubs for not being like them. Duck sets up his own club and everyone is welcome, regardless of the animal noises they make. The children in Pearl Class recognised that it is important to accept and value each other for our differences so that we can can have many friends and so no-one is left out. As teachers, we were very proud of the children as they shared their thoughts and observations.
