DT/Science project with Emerald Class

Emerald class designed and made a set of ear defenders to investigate what the best materials for sound absorption are. They made their products visually appealing and chose appropriate materials from a selection. The children learned about the need to include seams on fabric products. The defenders were then fairly tested to determine which set were the most successful at blocking out sound.
