'...into the night sky. And the dragons followed.' The children thought about what George and the dragons saw as they flew above the sleeping town.
The children carried out a 'Defining the space' activity where they created the outline of the dragon on the floor or set up chairs in rows (to replicate inside the dragon machine). The children then imagined flying into the sky in the dragon machine and described orally how it felt and how difficult it was to board. They imagined flying over the world and considered the questions: What can we see? What can we hear? How do we feel?
