The DEVA Roman Experience!

Year four had an incredible day in Chester learning about The Romans. They heard about the food, the bathouses, the army, the amphitheatre and the entertainment. The children had a march through Chester with their shields and practised battle formations with their weapons. The children learned how successful the Roman culture was in Britain and how their occupation improved Britain whilst they were here.
