Designs and prototypes

The children in Pearl Class learned about the inventor and painter, Leonardo da Vinci. They learned that he had drawn many designs for an armoured tank, helicopter and parachute. The children learned that the next step in the invention process was to create a prototype to test the idea or process. The children used the drawing of a parachute made by Leonardo da Vinca to make their own prototype to test it.
