Creating prototypes

The children in Pearl Class learned that inventors create inventions to solve a problem or to answer a question. They draw designs, create models and prototypes which they test to see how effectively their design solves the problem. Leonardo da Vinci is a famous artist and designers. He designed a winged flying machine, a robotic knight, an armoured tank and a parachute. The children designed and made their own prototype parachute which they had fun testing.
