Dear Parent / Carer
I hope you and your families enjoyed a relaxing summer break and you all feel ready for the year ahead. I just wanted to inform you that our application to merge and create 'The Cornovii Trust' was approved by the Department for Education on 1/9/22. We are therefore now a Multi Academy Trust of 5 schools, consisting of Alsager Highfields Primary, Alsager School, Audlem St James Church of England Primary, Brine Leas School and Weston Primary. The Headteachers, local governing bodies, Trustees and I are all very excited by the opportunities this larger, merged Trust will bring to our young people and staff. We all firmly believe that by collaborating across 5 institutions, we will be able to make our already great schools even better for the benefit of our young people and the local communities they serve.
