Coding in Pearl

The children in Pearl are enjoying using Purple Mash to learn about coding. The children have created simple lines of code to control fish, hide bubbles and make aeroplanes move when clicked. They know that algorithms are instructions (steps in order) and they can debug to fix lines of code. The children have learned about events. What happens if I click? They designed their own airport and controlled the movement of the aircraft.
