Anti-Bullying Week

Home » News » Anti-Bullying Week

This week had been Anti Bullying and Inter Faith Week with the theme 'All Different. All Equal' taken from National Anti Bullying Week. The week began with a special launch assembly led by Mrs Bird and Mrs Stoker and some of our Anti Bullying Ambassadors who shared the theme of our week with all of the children and presented a role play about how important it is to recognize ourselves and others as being unique and special in so many ways and to celebrate these differences. They reminded us all of the importance of using our STOP (Several Times On Purpose) message to recognise the difference between falling out and bullying.
PCSO Nick and Ollie visited us for their half termly lunchtime drop in session on Thursday, giving the children an opportunity to ask them questions and talk to them about their role and any worries they may have. They also worked with each Key Stage 2 class delivering sessions on Internet and Personal Safety.
All classes took part in interactive sessions led by CONNECT on Tuesday which focused on celebrating differences and being kind in all we say and do. These sessions were funded through the fundraising efforts of our Friends group.
