On Wednesday, we welcomed Ian Morris to the school who ran the Ancient Egyptian workshop. A historian who has appeared on TV's Time Team and feature films including Ridley Scott's Gladiator, Ian brought life to the Ancient Egyptian world. Children were taught how to play Hounds & Jackals, an Egyptian boardgame, how to measure using the system of measure of the time as well as translating hieroglyphics and even how to play 'Chariot Football!'
