This week, Year 2 had the wonderful job of decorating our school Christmas tree.
Each child carefully placed a special symbol on the branches—Love, Peace, Joy, Hope, Noel and Faith—reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas within our Christian faith.
We talked about how Love reflects the love God shows to everyone, and how we can share that love with others. Peace reminds us of the calm and comfort Jesus brings to the world. Joy celebrates the happiness of Jesus’ birth, while Hope helps us remember that God is always with us, guiding us forward. Noel, meaning “Christmas,” marks the incredible moment Jesus came into the world. And Faith encourages us to trust in God and believe in His promises.
The children loved helping the tree come to life, and each symbol added a meaningful sparkle—showing that Christmas is not just about decorations, but about understanding and celebrating the message at the heart of our Christian community.
