We used the learning structure "numbered heads together" to find the odd one out on the rhyming strip and recorded the picture and word on the paper. We then used an online number spinner on the iPad to decide which person would be the spokesperson for the group 1,2,3 or 4. In phonics, we played 'Stand up, hand up, pair up' with our green words. The children paired up to read each other's words and then swapped.
