Star of Hope

To help the children get into the mindset of our new writing stimulus book 'Star of Hope', the children were randomly selected to either receive a yellow star or not. 

Those without a yellow star received a biscuit, while those with a yellow star received no treat and had their Year 6 hoodie-wearing privileges rescinded. 

On the same day, we heard an Auschwitz survivor's story and began to cold-write stories involving a family separated by conflict.
