World Book Day!

Today, Year 5 celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in their pyjamas (ready for a bed time story); taking part in a footy booky quiz; designing their own book covers; creating potato versions of their favourite characters and people found in books (such as the Christmas Pigtato; Ron Wedgley and Motato Salahd...)They heard extracts from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings read by Andy Serkis (Mr B's favourite book series) and took part in a Settle Stories event with a story teller from Minneapolis, before ending their day by reading with their parents who came in specially.
