Ruby and Emerald Class had a wonderful time hiking, sketching and carrying out a river study in the Shropshire Hills at Carding Mill Valley. The weather was beautiful and we found some amazing spots to complete our art work and to measure the size and speed of the Ashbrooke (which flows into the Cound Brook, a tributary of the River Severn).Today, Year 5 completed some maths work based on the data we collected, as well as identifying key features of human and physical geography using grid referencing on an OS Map of the area.
