Year 2 seed sorting

Year 2 have been learning about seeds. We sorted a range of seeds in different ways using sorting circles and a Venn Diagram. We asked the questions:
What do you think grows from these seeds?
Do big seeds grow big plants?
Do seeds need light to grow?
Do the colour of the seeds relate to the colour of the plant?
Do all seeds grow at the same rate?
Are seeds edible?
