Return to School

The documents added to this Return to School page include Risk Assessments and provisional plans made to support the children as they begin a phased return to school.

The photographs of school have been added so that parents may begin to familiarise their children with the altered appearance of school. When talking about the school, focus on what is the same. They will be with teachers who know them and with some of their friends. Focus on the return to school as a new adventure that we are sharing together. A video has been added to help prepare the children for their return to school. It shows the classroom bubbles and shows some of the arrival at school procedure.

When planning to return to school, the children will be taught about social distancing. You can help by playing some of the games attached with your children before they return to school. For younger children, the ball games are particularly useful as they can be used to show what 2 metres apart looks like.
