Ruby Class Romans

Home » News » Ruby Class Romans

On Tuesday, Ruby Class had a wonderful time learning about the Romans and training to become legionnaires in the Roman army. Centurion Pertinax took the class and whipped them into shape; teaching them how to form a testudo shield formation and a contra equitas in order to combat an incoming Celtic attack. We then enjoyed a guided tour of the Dewa Experience's museum, where we learned about what the Romans ate, how they treated ailments, and how they washed.
