In Year 2, the children have been using the story Wilfrid Gordon Macdonald Partridge by Mem Fox to discuss their memories. They have made special memory boxes to store their precious memories in. In History, the children have found out about World War 1 and they have raised questions such as 'Who and what are we remembering?' and 'Why do we wear poppies?' Mrs Richardson shared special memories of her Grandpa with the children. They became newspaper reporters, they interviewed Mrs Richardson and then reported on her family story. Pearl class are very proud of their 'Remember' books and boxes.
