Pearl Class enjoyed their Outdoor Learning Activities this week. The afternoon began with a game of hide and seek called Ninja Squirrels. The children found very innovative hiding places.
They then searched the school grounds for natural materials. Using clay, they created faces on the tree bark and they used natural tools to add texture to the base. After that they added the grass, flowers, twigs and bark to create tree faces. They then named the characters and in a circle time worked in small groups to develop stories about their tree beard faces.
