School webteam: November 2018
We were delighted to be awarded the NHS Silver Self Care Award in recognition of our work to promote Active Lifestyles both within and beyond school. We are the first school in Cheshire to be awarded this and we are thrilled to be leading the way in promoting healthy and active lifestyle choices to all of our children and families. The award recognises our work to promote increased activity levels within the school day including our Active Audlem laps to collect our Daily Miles and our core skills PE sessions to identify areas children are already confident and secure with and skills to focus on in our lessons. The award also recognises all of the sport we participate in across school and the high participation rates we have with all children encouraged to represent school in a range of sports and events. Our use of Active Homework, via Amaven, and our shared half termly Active Audlem morning sessions for children, staff and families are also recognised in this award. A great achievement for everyone!
