Coding with Pearl

Home » News » Coding

The children in Pearl Class enjoyed coding using the Minecraft one hour of code, They used Blockly — blocks to drag and drop when writing a program. They also looked at the underlying Java Script lines of code. The key concepts that the children learned included commands, repeat loops and if statements. The children built code to move Alex around in the play space. The blocks are taken from the tool box and are used to create lines of code in the workspace. The children tested the program to see if it worked. If any flaws were discovered, the children debugged to correct the lines of code.
