During British Science Week, the children in Sapphire class asked the question;
Does the shape of a vegetable affect the taste?
Before we tasted the vegetables we predicted whether or not the taste would be different. One child predicted that the taste would be the same because "although they might look different on the outside they're still the same inside."
After tasting regular and irregular shaped carrots, cucumbers and peppers, the children came to the conclusion that the shape didn't really affect the taste although the curvy cucumber was slightly tastier than the regular one.
