ACORNS 1&2 - The Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception)

Our Nursery and Reception classes are known as 'ACORNS' .

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is planned to take into consideration the development of the whole child and all their needs.  In our planning we consider the way most young children learn best.  We place importance on the stage of development and needs of your individual child.  All activities are planned within six areas of development:

• Creative Development
• Physical Development
• Communication, Language & Literacy
• Knowledge & Understanding of the World
• Mathematical Development
• Personal,Social &  Emotional Development

Each half term there will be an overall topic title.  Please see the Class pages for updates of what each class has been up to over the term.
