STEM week with Ruby Class

Home » News » STEM Week

As part of our STEM week — with a focus on agriculture — Ruby Class engaged in some eggsellent eggsaminations of chicken eggs. As well as learning the difference between fertilised and non-fertilised eggs, each group managed to identify nine different parts of the egg — including the membranes and the chalaza. We also discussed the ethical implications of battery vs free-range hens.
