Diamond Class are promoting learning in the outdoor environment. They learned how to draw to scale and to understand ratio. They developed their knowledge of coordinates and grid references within the classroom.
They were then challenged to work in teams and find a way to paint a mammoth onto the field to scale using sticks, string and paint. The children were able to consolidate maths concepts and skills whilst working collaboratively and creatively.
