health, healthy food

On Monday the 1st of October Audlem St James School celebrated their Harvest festival with songs, prayers and many more. Instead of bringing in tin cans and vegetables to their church, they have sponsored a charity called Shelter which helps the people that are going to be homeless.

They ask the children to take home and fill up a shelter bag, as a representative from shelter came to collect them on Thursday the 4th of October. Shelter has helped millions of people around the world. They chose this charity as a pupil from year 5 recommend it to the school council.

As well as that, Audlem St James had a West End performer come in to school and teach them how to bring books to life with dance. Key stage 1 brought the book where the wild things are to life and Key stage 2 did the story of Pinocchio it was a great performance for the parents.
