Minibeast designs

The children in Pearl Class used 2Simple painting tools to create detailed images of mini-beasts found in our gardens. Mrs Fawcett, Head of Food and Textiles, from Brine Leas School kindly printed the images on to a satin fabric and then taught the children a range of sewing and fastening techniques to enhance their designs. Technicians from Brine Leas High School ably supported the children and taught them how to use a sewing machine. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and their work was thoughtfully completed.
