Mr Heathcock, with the help of Betty, built the Learning Shack (name chosen by the children) at the end of February during a very wet and windy spell! We have had much fun using the shack in school for a range of activities. diamond Class use the shack a lot to perform drama activities to each other as shown by the photos! Other classes have used it for Numeracy, Science and a range of other fun activities. During this hot spell it has been a fabulous asset on the field as a shelter from the sun and as a place to rest and hydrate during sport!
The Learning Shack is the first phase of the plans to make use of our fabulous outdoor space.
