Hands on History

On Thursday all the children in school were visited by Mr Vance from 'Local History Days'. The children explored Audlem during different periods in History. They looked at events and examined artefacts from Roman and Tudor times and they learned about life when Queen Victoria ruled and finally, life during World War Two. The children were engaged and participated fully. They considered what it was like to be a 'child' during different periods in history and felt very strongly about how boys and girls were treated.
