Forest School with Sapphire Class

Home » News » Forest School with Sapphire Class

Year 1 enjoyed a rather wet forest schools session, where they learnt how to make different things for a deserted island. These included boats out of man made and natural resources, rafts using bamboo and string, small shelters for their toys and larger shelters for themselves. In the second session the children had the chance to choose from all these different activities including some new activities, for example making models of transport made from natural resources and drawing maps using chalk. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves in their forest schools session.
