La comida española — Spanish food
Spanish food is very varied and there are many, many dishes that are typical. Our well travelled cook, Mrs Hayward, shared her love of Spain with the children through a delicious Spanish school lunch.
la tortilla — a Spanish omelette
el pan con tomate — bread with tomato
unas tapas — small portions of food
el jamón serrano — mountain ham
The children learned many Spanish phrases, looked at traditional costumes and the Spanish flag whilst enjoying a tasty lunch.
Gracias por el regalo, Mrs Hayward. Muchas gracias from Audlem St James' children.
