Pearl class explored 3D shapes. They solved this problem as a starting point for investigation:
Year 2 are using straws to make 3D shapes. Each child is given 12 straws to make a cube. Is this the right amount? Explain how you know.They described the properties of the 3D shape using mathematical vocabulary.
