Pearl and Sapphire classes headed to Chester Zoo on Tuesday and enjoyed a workshop about rainforests. The rainforest is one of the most amazing habitats on the planet, it is home to an incredible array of animals and provides us with so many resources. The children found out about the heaviest snake in the world and saw exotic animals that live in exciting habitats. The children from Year 1 said: "We saw the tigers and sloths, the elephants, turtles and fish."
However, our rainforests are in trouble... our mission is to find out why they are so important and what we can all do to help save them.
